Ag. Paraskevi's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Volos NFC the free kick. In the 3rd match minute, Ag. Paraskevi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Trifon Symeonas to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alkinoos Kakouriotis in the 6th minute of play forced Volos NFC's goalkeeper Tymoteusz Pysz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 8th match minute, Volos NFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Babbis Venetis to maneuver through the defense. In the 9th minute of the match Minas Pavlakis shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tymoteusz Pysz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Themis Filippakos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mihnea Doicaru read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. 21 minutes into the game, Thanos Fanatos recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Mihnea Doicaru. Thanos Fanatos showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. After having played for 32 minutes, Babbis Venetis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Volos NFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Babbis Venetis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alkinoos Kakouriotis scored 2-1 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tymoteusz Pysz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 43rd minute Alkinoos Kakouriotis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tymoteusz Pysz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Babbis Venetis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Mihnea Doicaru made a huge save. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Themis Filippakos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Ag. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Thanos Fanatos in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mihnea Doicaru saved Ag. Paraskevi from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thanos Fanatos in the 72nd minute of play forced Ag. Paraskevi's goalkeeper Mihnea Doicaru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 72 minutes, Alkinoos Kakouriotis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ag. Paraskevi and the Volos NFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Paraskevi eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
