Nikos Mitsakos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Artmir Pejkov in the 4th minute of the match. 5 minutes into the game, Iosif Vallas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Farαkla BC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave STENIKASTRO the free kick. After a rather tough play, Farαkla BC's Iosif Vallas got a free kick in the 5th minute. A collision led to STENIKASTRO getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Panos Mitropoulos hit a great ball. In the 8th minute of the match, Msaed Al Khobaize tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Nikos Mitsakos saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Alkinoos Banasas charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alkinoos Banasas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 12th minute, Alkinoos Banasas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 16 played minutes STENIKASTRO got a freekick which was hit by Zinon Tachtsidis. Nikos Mitsakos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nikos Chytos, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. In the 19th minute of the match Farαkla BC got a corner. STENIKASTRO's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Iosif Vallas ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Iosif Vallas got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Nikos Mitsakos quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 20th minute, Nikos Korelas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alexis Bougatselis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Godfried Laurent, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. STENIKASTRO were awarded a corner in the 24th minute after Farαkla BC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Thomas Loukoumakis took the corner. The corner led STENIKASTRO's Thomas Loukoumakis to fire away a dangerous shot which Alexis Bougatselis despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. With a little luck, STENIKASTRO's Nikos Mitsakos got control of the ball when Msaed Al Khobaize tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lakis Karamaounas kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Farαkla BC's Msaed Al Khobaize slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Nikos Mitsakos. That made the score 1-0 after 31 minutes of play. Msaed Al Khobaize sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Godfried Laurent took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alexis Bougatselis. Alexis Bougatselis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Alexis Bougatselis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Godfried Laurent in the 43rd minute of play. In the 47th minute, Msaed Al Khobaize made a precise shot to the right of Nikos Mitsakos. STENIKASTRO's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1.

When Msaed Al Khobaize fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Farαkla BC's protests and gave Msaed Al Khobaize a yellow card for diving instead. Nikos Korelas hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. In the 57th minute, STENIKASTRO's Godfried Laurent dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. 62 minutes into the match, Farαkla BC's goal looked a bit too open when Godfried Laurent came free, but Alexis Bougatselis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Msaed Al Khobaize kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Panos Mitropoulos during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Panos Mitropoulos hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Farαkla BC's Thanasis Tsioris got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Nikos Limnios kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Nikos Mitsakos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Artmir Pejkov's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. STENIKASTRO were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
