The 1η Μ.Α.Λ. fans' excitement grew in the 13th match minute when 1η Μ.Α.Λ.'s Isidoros Kaounos looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Alexis Bougatselis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isidoros Kaounos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 16th minute, Kostas Mingas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 28 minutes, Artmir Pejkov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Farαkla BC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Artmir Pejkov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 33 minutes into the match, Farαkla BC's goal looked a bit too open when Michalis Anthoulis came free, but Alexis Bougatselis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 35th minute Isidoros Kaounos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexis Bougatselis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alexis Bougatselis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isidoros Kaounos in the 37th minute of the match. Alexis Bougatselis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eustratios Panagakos, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidoros Kaounos in the 48th minute of play forced Farαkla BC's goalkeeper Alexis Bougatselis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Msaed Al Khobaize stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Msaed Al Khobaize had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Michalis Anthoulis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alexis Bougatselis having to make a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Msaed Al Khobaize in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tiit Võsoberg saved 1η Μ.Α.Λ. from getting behind. 78 minutes into the game, Isidoros Kaounos recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Alexis Bougatselis. Isidoros Kaounos showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-2. Msaed Al Khobaize fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiit Võsoberg having to interfere. Alexis Bougatselis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Michalis Anthoulis in the 85th minute. Tiit Võsoberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
