After 10 minutes, Petros Terzis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mazio f.c. and the Zinedine Zidane club de f players grew even worse after the yellow card. Petros Terzis kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. The Mazio f.c. fans' excitement grew in the 43rd match minute when Mazio f.c.'s Aris Kritikopoulos looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Alketas Pesmatzoglou took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chiquito Rico, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Timos Velopoulos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Zlatko Zahovič hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 66 minutes into the match, Mazio f.c.'s goal looked a bit too open when Notis Dimakoglou came free, but Nektarios Kalkounos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 68 minutes into the game, Theodosis Stergiatos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Alketas Pesmatzoglou showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aris Kritikopoulos, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Mazio f.c. played a much better game than Zinedine Zidane club de f and deserved their victory. The Zinedine Zidane club de f players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
