Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5850, Seating: 1550, VIP seats: 100) Farαkla BC's Konstantinos Kouros started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Sfinaskapa's Notis Dimakoglou got a free kick in the 3rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Timos Velopoulos in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alexis Bougatselis saved Farαkla BC from getting behind. Alexis Bougatselis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Theodosis Stergiatos in the 14th minute of play. Sfinaskapa's Alketas Pesmatzoglou played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Konstantinos Kouros in the 16th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Sfinaskapa's zone, Konstantinos Kouros stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alketas Pesmatzoglou came out of the goal and Konstantinos Kouros tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Farαkla BC's Alexis Bougatselis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Notis Dimakoglou in the 21st minute of play. Alexis Bougatselis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Timos Velopoulos in the 22nd minute of the match. After 23 played minutes Farαkla BC got a freekick which was hit by Konstantinos Kouros. After 25 minutes of play, Sfinaskapa's Notis Dimakoglou made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alexis Bougatselis was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Farαkla BC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Chrisostomos Charalambidis hit a great ball. In the 35th minute, Timos Velopoulos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 36 minutes into the match, Notis Dimakoglou notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Farαkla BC's Alexis Bougatselis. Alexis Bougatselis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Alexis Bougatselis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vassilis Mantas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 45th minute, Notis Dimakoglou left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sfinaskapa fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Alexis Bougatselis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Timos Velopoulos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half Sfinaskapa were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Timos Velopoulos to make the kick off. Farαkla BC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Notis Dimakoglou 52 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-5. In the 57th minute, Notis Dimakoglou fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Alexis Bougatselis, passed just outside the right post. Timos Velopoulos scored 0-6 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alexis Bougatselis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 62nd minute, Farαkla BC's Pavlos Dimas seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Pavlos Dimas the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Farαkla BC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Pavlos Dimas had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Farαkla BC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 61st minute. Penalty! If Timos Velopoulos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 69 minutes of play, Sfinaskapa's Vassilis Mantas made it 0-8 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alexis Bougatselis was left in no man's land by his defense there! Timos Velopoulos's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 72ndth minute, Alexis Bougatselis skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Notis Dimakoglou hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Alexis Bougatselis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zlatko Zahovič in the 76th minute. 83 minutes into the match, Farαkla BC's goal looked a bit too open when Notis Dimakoglou came free, but Alexis Bougatselis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Timos Velopoulos got free with Alexis Bougatselis in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With an all-out effort, Sfinaskapa's Alexis Bougatselis threw himself towards the right post 94 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Notis Dimakoglou, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The audience was convinced that Notis Dimakoglou's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alexis Bougatselis was relentless in the 101st minute of the game. When the final whistle sounded Sfinaskapa left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Farαkla BC.
