Alexis Bougatselis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aris Kritikopoulos in the 11th minute of the match. Aris Kritikopoulos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexis Bougatselis having to interfere. Alexis Bougatselis came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Mazio f.c.'s Christos Tsouchtras. But to his dismay, Christos Tsouchtras quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Aris Kritikopoulos charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aris Kritikopoulos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Farαkla BC booed when Mazio f.c. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aris Kritikopoulos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mazio f.c.'s Nektarios Kalkounos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aris Zervakos in the 20th minute of play. Giannis Koukoulekis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Farαkla BC defense, Giannis Koukoulekis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alexis Bougatselis. The Farαkla BC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alexis Bougatselis should have stopped the shot. After having played for 30 minutes, Evripidis Mavrogenidis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mazio f.c.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Evripidis Mavrogenidis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alexis Bougatselis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aris Kritikopoulos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 35 minutes into the match, Farαkla BC's goal looked a bit too open when Aris Kritikopoulos came free, but Alexis Bougatselis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alexis Bougatselis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giannis Koukoulekis in the 36th minute of play. Alexis Bougatselis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Giannis Koukoulekis went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Farαkla BC's Kostas Mingas got a free kick in the 46th minute. In the 83rd minute, Giannis Koukoulekis made a precise shot to the right of Alexis Bougatselis. Farαkla BC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-9. Giannis Koukoulekis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexis Bougatselis having to interfere.
