Victor Paez yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. 6 minutes into the match, Αστέρας Δερβενίου's goal looked a bit too open when Iakovos Kapetanos came free, but Evaggelos Kapetanidis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 10 minutes into the game, Penyo Strelyov lined in a short shot 2-0 behind a frustrated Victor Paez. After 13 minutes, Eleftherios Tarsø mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Αστέρας Δερβενίου and the Drafi players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 13th match minute, Αστέρας Δερβενίου was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eleftherios Tarsø to maneuver through the defense. Evaggelos Kapetanidis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Akis Katsanis in the 14th minute of play. Drafi's Victor Paez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Piara Gallardo in the 15th minute of play. Victor Paez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Penyo Strelyov's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. In the 16th match minute, Drafi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thomas Nikitaras to maneuver through the defense. Evaggelos Kapetanidis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Akis Katsanis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Penyo Strelyov's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 21stth minute, Victor Paez skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Piara Gallardo got free with Victor Paez in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Victor Paez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Piara Gallardo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 38 played minutes Αστέρας Δερβενίου got a freekick which was hit by Piara Gallardo. Evaggelos Kapetanidis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Akis Katsanis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 41 minutes into the game, one of Drafi:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 43 minutes, Αστέρας Δερβενίου's Paris Karaindros got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Victor Paez. Iakovos Kapetanos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evaggelos Kapetanidis having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Penyo Strelyov was the one to do the kick off. Victor Paez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jerzy Zbikowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Αστέρας Δερβενίου booed when Drafi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anestis Patsionidis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Victor Paez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zacharias Niniadis in the 76th minute of play. 79 minutes into the match, Drafi's goal looked a bit too open when Piara Gallardo came free, but Victor Paez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 80th match minute, Drafi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Waclaw Jaszyna to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Penyo Strelyov in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Victor Paez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 86 minutes, Penyo Strelyov made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Drafi's Victor Paez tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 94 minutes into the match, Piara Gallardo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Victor Paez. Drafi's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Piara Gallardo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. When the referee ended the match the Αστέρας Δερβενίου players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
