Manos Karagiannopoulos struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Dimitris Nerozoumis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Αστέρας. In the 27th minute Vladimiros Sismanidis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dimitris Nerozoumis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Adamantios Nikoloudis made a kick off. Dimitris Nerozoumis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eugenios Iordanis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eugenios Iordanis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Dimitris Nerozoumis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Αστέρας's Eugenios Iordanis in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye ASTERAS SYROY FC's goalie prevented a goal. Iraklis Vazakos came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by ASTERAS SYROY FC's Adamantios Nikoloudis. But to his dismay, Adamantios Nikoloudis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. A collision led to ASTERAS SYROY FC getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Oto Janečka hit a great ball. 74 minutes into the match, ASTERAS SYROY FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eugenios Iordanis came free, but Dimitris Nerozoumis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 75th minute of the match Αστέρας got a corner. ASTERAS SYROY FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Manos Karagiannopoulos ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 77th minute, Oto Janečka hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 80th match minute, ASTERAS SYROY FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oto Janečka to maneuver through the defense. Dimitris Nerozoumis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eugenios Iordanis, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Vladimiros Sismanidis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Eugenios Iordanis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee ended the match the Αστέρας players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
