Kurtuluş Erdursun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raúl Sanches, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Miltiadis Kokkinis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Diogenis Maloumidis was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Miltiadis Kokkinis managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Bad Company's supporters rose to their feet, but Miltiadis Kokkinis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Diogenis Maloumidis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Maitham Al Motaire hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in AMFITHEA's zone, Miltiadis Kokkinis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Diogenis Maloumidis came out of the goal and Miltiadis Kokkinis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 41 minutes into the match, AMFITHEA's goal looked a bit too open when Miltiadis Kokkinis came free, but Diogenis Maloumidis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of FC Bad Company booed when AMFITHEA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vladimiros Vasiliadis didn't get a good kick on the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Miltiadis Kokkinis in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Diogenis Maloumidis saved AMFITHEA from getting behind. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Raúl Sanches couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the FC Bad Company defense, Isidoros Perakakis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kurtuluş Erdursun. The FC Bad Company fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kurtuluş Erdursun should have stopped the shot.
