The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kyriakos Georgopoulos in the 2nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dimitris Nerozoumis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Thymios Pantoflaras scored 0-1 in the 4th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dimitris Nerozoumis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 6th match minute, ASTERAS SYROY FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adamantios Nikoloudis to maneuver through the defense. Kyriakos Georgopoulos took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dimitris Nerozoumis. Dimitris Nerozoumis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. 19 minutes into the match, ASTERAS SYROY FC's goal looked a bit too open when Thymios Pantoflaras came free, but Dimitris Nerozoumis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Egemen Tuna scored 0-4 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dimitris Nerozoumis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Sotiris Giannopoulos kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. In the 27th minute, Gilberto Gonçalves left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. Dimitris Nerozoumis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kyriakos Georgopoulos in the 33rd minute of play. 37 minutes into the game, Thymios Pantoflaras cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Dimitris Nerozoumis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 40th minute Gilberto Gonçalves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dimitris Nerozoumis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dimitris Nerozoumis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Egemen Tuna went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-7 was the resulting score. Dimitris Nerozoumis came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ's Gilberto Gonçalves. But to his dismay, Gilberto Gonçalves quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-8. After the first half ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ were leading 0-8. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Adamantios Nikoloudis made a kick off. Dimitris Nerozoumis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thymios Pantoflaras in the 51st minute of the match. If Gilberto Gonçalves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 53rd minute, ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ's Thymios Pantoflaras dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-9. Dimitris Nerozoumis was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Kyriakos Georgopoulos showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-10 in the 56 minute of play. A collision led to ASTERAS SYROY FC getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Stelios Chatzoudis hit a great ball. Dimitris Nerozoumis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Egemen Tuna, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Dimitris Nerozoumis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexis Thessalonikios, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 66 minutes into the match, Kyriakos Georgopoulos notched a goal, 0-12, to the right of ASTERAS SYROY FC's Dimitris Nerozoumis. Dimitris Nerozoumis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 69 minutes into the match, ASTERAS SYROY FC's goalkeeper Dimitris Nerozoumis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kyriakos Georgopoulos. 72 minutes into the match, ASTERAS SYROY FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alexis Thessalonikios came free, but Dimitris Nerozoumis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 73 minutes, Dimitris Nerozoumis successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Egemen Tuna could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Dimitris Nerozoumis made a huge save. ASTERAS SYROY FC's Dimitris Nerozoumis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kyriakos Georgopoulos in the 79th minute of play. Dimitris Nerozoumis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilberto Gonçalves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, ASTERAS SYROY FC's Dimitris Nerozoumis got control of the ball when Kyriakos Georgopoulos tried to sneak it across the goal line. 85 minutes into the match, ASTERAS SYROY FC's goalkeeper Dimitris Nerozoumis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kyriakos Georgopoulos. Kyriakos Georgopoulos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Dimitris Nerozoumis made a huge save. Dimitris Nerozoumis was a little too slow when Kyriakos Georgopoulos got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 92nd minute. The score was now 0-14. In the 95th minute Gilberto Gonçalves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dimitris Nerozoumis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. ΑΣΤΕΡΑΣ ΣΟΛΟΜΟΥ played a much better game than ASTERAS SYROY FC and deserved their victory. The ASTERAS SYROY FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
