The Specialist's Vassilis Ouzounis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save The Specialist from getting a goal against them. 24 minutes into the game, Eugenios Iordanis lined in a short shot 2-0 behind a frustrated Vassilis Ouzounis. The wind increased when Stratos Samios made the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Αστέρας got a freekick which was hit by Orestis Papadakoglou. Vassilis Ouzounis came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Αστέρας's Eugenios Iordanis. But to his dismay, Eugenios Iordanis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Stratos Samios fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iraklis Vazakos having to interfere. In the 63rd minute Stratos Samios shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iraklis Vazakos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Eugenios Iordanis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vassilis Ouzounis was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. Sotos Papapanagiotou might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vassilis Ouzounis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sotos Papapanagiotou ran back to his position shaking his head. After some careless play in the The Specialist defense, Eugenios Iordanis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vassilis Ouzounis. The The Specialist fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vassilis Ouzounis should have stopped the shot. Iraklis Vazakos was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Paraskevas Kontaxis. 87 minutes into the match, The Specialist's goal looked a bit too open when Eugenios Iordanis came free, but Vassilis Ouzounis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eugenios Iordanis might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vassilis Ouzounis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eugenios Iordanis ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind The Specialist's goalkeeper Vassilis Ouzounis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Vassilis Batzis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Αστέρας's supporters rose to their feet, but Vassilis Batzis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vassilis Ouzounis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Αστέρας fully deserved thier win.
