An unexpectedly hard shot by Stelios Kyriakiou in the 15th minute of play forced Drafi's goalkeeper Victor Paez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Akis Katsanis during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 18 played minutes Drafi got a freekick which was hit by Akis Katsanis. Victor Paez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Savas Dalianas in the 19th minute. Drafi's Victor Paez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stelios Kyriakiou in the 20th minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, Drafi's goal looked a bit too open when Omiros Pioukas came free, but Victor Paez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 23 minutes into the match, Drafi's goalkeeper Victor Paez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Savas Dalianas. Zinon Vourlis charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zinon Vourlis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Iakovos Kapetanos to make the kick off. Leonidas Stelopoulos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Waclaw Jaszyna, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. The supporters of Drafi booed when Hangovers FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Theodosis Chatzikostas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Waclaw Jaszyna struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Leonidas Stelopoulos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Drafi. After 90 played minutes Hangovers FC got a freekick which was hit by Theodosis Chatzikostas. After a defensive mix-up in Hangovers FC's zone, Waclaw Jaszyna stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leonidas Stelopoulos came out of the goal and Waclaw Jaszyna tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Hangovers FC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
