Thodoris Kapogiannopoulos yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Keraynos FC's Thodoris Kapogiannopoulos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miltos Vourexakis in the 13th minute of play. Thodoris Kapogiannopoulos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Markos Theriaklis in the 14th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Markos Theriaklis kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Thodoris Kapogiannopoulos. That made the score 3-0 in the 26 minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Keraynos FC's zone, Markos Theriaklis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thodoris Kapogiannopoulos came out of the goal and Markos Theriaklis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thodoris Kapogiannopoulos didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 31st minute, which inside left pole to 4-0. Miltos Vourexakis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 38 minutes into the game, Mesta's Yousef El Arabi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Thodoris Kapogiannopoulos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Thodoris Kapogiannopoulos made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Yousef El Arabi sent off a good shot on target.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Yousef El Arabi to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Keraynos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lakis Papafotopoulos came free, but Thodoris Kapogiannopoulos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thodoris Kapogiannopoulos was left in no man's land by his defense there! There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Mesta fully deserved thier win.
