The crowd rose to their feet as Bruno Fernandes kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Thodoris Kapogiannopoulos. That made the score 1-0 in the 8 minute of play. Mert Günok stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alekos Martinakis's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. The supporters of Mantoϊdion booed when Keraynos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vladimiros Giasemakis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Keraynos FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Charis Paliogiannos 21 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. A hard shot 24 in the game by Bruno Fernandes from a close distance when the talented Thodoris Kapogiannopoulos managed to make a qualified save. Keraynos FC's players were relieved. In the 26th minute Mantoϊdion were awarded a corner. Diogenis Plessas went to the cornerflag to take it. Diogenis Plessas made a great header on Mantoϊdion's corner, it was just that Keraynos FC's Thodoris Kapogiannopoulos managed to reach the ball for a save. A collision led to Keraynos FC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Vladimiros Giasemakis hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alekos Martinakis in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mert Günok saved Mantoϊdion from getting behind. In the 35th minute, Prodromos Giotidis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Stathis Rodostoglou hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Alekos Martinakis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mert Günok was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alekos Martinakis in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mert Günok saved Mantoϊdion from getting behind. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alekos Martinakis to strike the kick off in the second half. Diogenis Plessas's late challenge caught a Keraynos FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Diogenis Plessas helped the player get up and apologised. In the 51st minute, Diogenis Plessas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Alekos Martinakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Menios Veliou fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mert Günok having to interfere. When Menios Veliou came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Keraynos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Menios Veliou couldn't finish the play. Diogenis Plessas hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Alekos Martinakis's late challenge caught a Mantoϊdion's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alekos Martinakis helped the player get up and apologised. Nikos Zouboulakis, 70 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Bruno Fernandes took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Thodoris Kapogiannopoulos. Thodoris Kapogiannopoulos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. After some careless play in the Keraynos FC defense, Prodromos Giotidis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Thodoris Kapogiannopoulos. The Keraynos FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Thodoris Kapogiannopoulos should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Mantoϊdion's Gerasimos Karalis got a free kick in the 83rd minute. After 87 minutes of play, Keraynos FC's Alekos Martinakis made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mert Günok was left in no man's land by his defense there! Alekos Martinakis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mert Günok read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. Stathis Rodostoglou struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Mert Günok didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Keraynos FC. Orestis Gerontidis charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Orestis Gerontidis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.
