In the 19th minute, Kleon Karoubalos reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Tolis Nomikos. The goal made the score 1-0. A collision led to MindHead FC getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Kostas Mouras hit a great ball. In the 24th minute Petros Peponis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tolis Nomikos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 26 minutes MindHead FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Aris Karantonis who took care of the corner kick. After 29 played minutes Geo United got a freekick which was hit by Fokas Spyropoulos. Ermis Prasomouris didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mathieu-Maxim Van Leemputte went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 35th minute Kostas Mouras shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ermis Prasomouris saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Mathieu-Maxim Van Leemputte came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the MindHead FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mathieu-Maxim Van Leemputte couldn't finish the play. In the 37th minute, Thanos Moisidis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kostas Mouras in the 40th minute of play forced Geo United's goalkeeper Ermis Prasomouris to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tolis Nomikos made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Fragiskos Karaliopoulos sent off a good shot on target. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Stratos Bithas kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. In the 56th minute of the match Spyros Mitsias sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tolis Nomikos skillfully saved the ball. Geo United's Ermis Prasomouris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kostas Mouras in the 61st minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Thalis Kominatos got free with Ermis Prasomouris in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 67 minutes, Fragiskos Karaliopoulos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Geo United and the MindHead FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 67th minute, Fragiskos Karaliopoulos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thalis Kominatos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 70 minutes into the game, Spyros Mitsias was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Geo United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MindHead FC the free kick. After 70 played minutes Geo United got a freekick which was hit by Spyros Mitsias. Ermis Prasomouris was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Alexandros Valsamis. 75 minutes into the match, Geo United's goalkeeper Ermis Prasomouris had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mathieu-Maxim Van Leemputte. The audience thought a goal was coming when Thalis Kominatos got free with Ermis Prasomouris in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thalis Kominatos spun around in front of the goal 77 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Geo United's goal. MindHead FC's Marinos Tatsis was substituted for Kostas Mouras. In the 92nd minute, Kleon Karoubalos made a precise shot to the right of Tolis Nomikos. MindHead FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Eutichios Kanelos charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eutichios Kanelos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Eutichios Kanelos hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. MindHead FC's Tolis Nomikos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Petros Peponis in the 96th minute of play. Geo United's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
