The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Nikos Zouboulakis charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After a rather tough play, Blue Lions FC's Simos Manousopoulos got a free kick in the 4th minute. Menios Veliou hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Simos Manousopoulos was extremely unlucky when he, in the 6th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Thodoris Kapogiannopoulos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Simos Manousopoulos in the 6th minute of the match. Stathis Klotsidis succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 8th playminute. In the 11th minute, Pipis Siapanidis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Keraynos FC defense, Andreas Björck kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Thodoris Kapogiannopoulos. The Keraynos FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Thodoris Kapogiannopoulos should have stopped the shot. Stathis Klotsidis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Blue Lions FC's goalkeeper Kostas Alexoudis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 16 minutes into the game, Keraynos FC's Alekos Martinakis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kostas Alexoudis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. In the 20th play minute Stathis Klotsidis came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Thodoris Kapogiannopoulos. 3-1. Thodoris Kapogiannopoulos was a little too slow when Simos Manousopoulos got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 24th minute. The score was now 4-1. Stathis Klotsidis scored 5-1 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Thodoris Kapogiannopoulos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 32 played minutes Keraynos FC got a freekick which was hit by Zacharias Agathiou. 35 minutes into the match, Keraynos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Simos Manousopoulos came free, but Thodoris Kapogiannopoulos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 36 minutes into the match, Andreas Björck dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Thodoris Kapogiannopoulos, 6-1. 41 minutes into the match, Keraynos FC's goalkeeper Thodoris Kapogiannopoulos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Stathis Klotsidis. Thanks to some nice moves Stathis Klotsidis could shoot a difficult shot in the 41st minute, which Thodoris Kapogiannopoulos however easily saved by the left post. The crowd rose to their feet as Pipis Siapanidis kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Thodoris Kapogiannopoulos. That made the score 7-1 in the 42 minute of play. Thodoris Kapogiannopoulos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Stathis Klotsidis's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. 47 minutes into the game, Blue Lions FC's Vaggelis Poulis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Thodoris Kapogiannopoulos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-1.

Thodoris Kapogiannopoulos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stathis Klotsidis in the 54th minute of play. 56 minutes into the match, Stathis Klotsidis notched a goal, 9-1, to the right of Keraynos FC's Thodoris Kapogiannopoulos. Thodoris Kapogiannopoulos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the match clock showed 60 minutes, the score became 10-1 when Stathis Klotsidis sped through Keraynos FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Thodoris Kapogiannopoulos. Thodoris Kapogiannopoulos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stathis Klotsidis, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. The audience was convinced that Stathis Klotsidis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Thodoris Kapogiannopoulos was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. When the match clock showed 69 minutes, the score became 11-1 when Vaggelis Poulis sped through Keraynos FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Thodoris Kapogiannopoulos. Thodoris Kapogiannopoulos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stathis Klotsidis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thodoris Kapogiannopoulos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stathis Klotsidis in the 72nd minute of the match. In the 77th minute, Alekos Martinakis fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Thodoris Kapogiannopoulos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andreas Björck, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Thodoris Kapogiannopoulos came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Blue Lions FC's Stathis Klotsidis. But to his dismay, Stathis Klotsidis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 13-1. Andreas Björck hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Thodoris Kapogiannopoulos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pipis Siapanidis in the 84th minute of the match. In the 86th minute, Andreas Björck ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Thodoris Kapogiannopoulos was frozen by the shot and now it was 14-1. Keraynos FC's Thodoris Kapogiannopoulos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stathis Klotsidis in the 93rd minute of play. After 94 minutes of play, Blue Lions FC's Andreas Björck made it 16-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Thodoris Kapogiannopoulos was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Stathis Klotsidis in the 98th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thodoris Kapogiannopoulos saved Keraynos FC from getting behind. When the referee ended the match the Blue Lions FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
