Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Thalis Kominatos in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kostas Alexoudis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lakis Goundoulakis charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lakis Goundoulakis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 28 minutes into the match, Blue Lions FC's goal looked a bit too open when Kostas Mouras came free, but Kostas Alexoudis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tolis Nomikos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vaggelis Poulis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The corner led to Blue Lions FC's Vaggelis Poulis getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Kostas Alexoudis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mathieu-Maxim Van Leemputte in the 56th minute. MindHead FC's Tolis Nomikos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andreas Björck in the 59th minute of play. Thalis Kominatos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Kostas Alexoudis made a huge save. For all the effort they put into the match, the MindHead FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Blue Lions FC.
