After the first half Blue Lions FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bruno Fernandes to strike the kick off in the second half. Blue Lions FC's Kostas Alexoudis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Prodromos Giotidis in the 57th minute of play. In the 57th minute, Cláudio Lara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Diogenis Plessas took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 58th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Kostas Alexoudis. Blue Lions FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Stathis Klotsidis succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-2 in the 89th playminute. Prodromos Giotidis hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. 0-3 became the score in the 96th minute when Simos Manousopoulos elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. When the match was over Blue Lions FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Mantoϊdion throughout the match.
