Theodosis Chroniss short, quick shot in the 68thth minute got Stamatis Ifantis to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sotiris Vrazilianos got free with Stamatis Ifantis in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thrasivoulos Kyriakoulis struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Savas Ignatiou didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ERGOTELIS. After 91 played minutes Αστέρας Δερβενίου got a freekick which was hit by Theocharis Sarris. 94 minutes into the match, Αστέρας Δερβενίου's goal looked a bit too open when Thrasivoulos Kyriakoulis came free, but Savas Ignatiou reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Αστέρας Δερβενίου's zone, Thrasivoulos Kyriakoulis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Savas Ignatiou came out of the goal and Thrasivoulos Kyriakoulis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Αστέρας Δερβενίου walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
