After 2 played minutes VARDA F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Dalmo Braga. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paris Georgiadis in the 3rd minute of play forced VARDA F.C.'s goalkeeper Dimitris Koborozos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 6th minute Farid Delecroix shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dimitris Koborozos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dalmo Braga's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Omiros Ntounos firmly grabbed it by the left post. Dimitris Koborozos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. 20 minutes into the match, VARDA F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Adamantios Akrivos came free, but Dimitris Koborozos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 22nd minute, Stavros Antzas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dimitris Koborozos was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. 25 minutes into the match, VARDA F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Adamantios Akrivos came free, but Dimitris Koborozos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. VARDA F.C.'s Dimitris Koborozos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save VARDA F.C. from getting a goal against them. 71 minutes into the match, VARDA F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Stavros Antzas came free, but Dimitris Koborozos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Omiros Ntounos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for VARDA F.C..
