In the 14thth minute of the game Nico Williams who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but The Undertaker's Vassilis Chatzipetrou was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 16 minutes into the game, Akis Tzanetakos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Themis Papadopetrakis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 18 minutes into the game, one of VARDA F.C.:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Vassilis Chatzipetrou had great luck who in the 28thth minute grab hold of the ball when Nico Williams from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. If Luisão Fernandes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Nico Williams came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the VARDA F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nico Williams couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nico Williams in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vassilis Chatzipetrou prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 38 played minutes VARDA F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Alexis Karagounis. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind VARDA F.C.'s goalkeeper Themis Papadopetrakis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Lazaros Zoumakis charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lazaros Zoumakis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Vassilis Chatzipetrou tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nico Williams struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Vassilis Chatzipetrou didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for VARDA F.C.. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Sakis Kosmiadis managed to get in a good position for a shot. VARDA F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Sakis Kosmiadis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vassilis Chatzipetrou breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. There was no doubt that VARDA F.C. were the better team. VARDA F.C.'s players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
