The audience was convinced that Nico Williams's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Prokopis Monokrousos was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. Luisão Fernandes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Prokopis Monokrousos having to interfere. Prokopis Monokrousos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dalmo Braga in the 30th minute of the match. Prokopis Monokrousos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dalmo Braga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Paolo Bilintx struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Themis Papadopetrakis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sireos FC. 33 minutes into the match, Sireos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nico Williams came free, but Prokopis Monokrousos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sireos FC's Prokopis Monokrousos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luisão Fernandes in the 34th minute of play. In the 41st minute Paolo Bilintx shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Themis Papadopetrakis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luisão Fernandes in the 42nd minute of play forced Sireos FC's goalkeeper Prokopis Monokrousos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Odysseas Kondilis got free with Themis Papadopetrakis in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eustratios Pechlifanis in the 47th minute of play forced VARDA F.C.'s goalkeeper Themis Papadopetrakis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Paolo Bilintx to strike the kick off in the second half. Dalmo Braga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Prokopis Monokrousos having to interfere.
