Spectators: 8404 (Terracing: 6303, Seating: 1933, VIP seats: 168) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Anestis Tzougarakis made the kick off which started today's match. 6 minutes into the match, FC CORFU's goal looked a bit too open when Nasos Patakos came free, but Petros Pantazidis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anestis Tzougarakis in the 7th minute of play forced FC CORFU's goalkeeper Petros Pantazidis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nasos Patakos took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Petros Pantazidis. Petros Pantazidis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 15th minute Ilias Sinetopoulos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Markos Bibis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 17th minute, Nasos Patakos made a precise shot to the right of Petros Pantazidis. FC CORFU's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. FC CORFU's Petros Pantazidis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anestis Tzougarakis in the 22nd minute of play. The throw-in from Bernabe Llin in the 28th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by PAOK's Nasos Patakos. In the 29th minute, Anestis Tzougarakis made a precise shot to the right of Petros Pantazidis. FC CORFU's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. After having played for 33 minutes, Ilias Sinetopoulos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC CORFU's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ilias Sinetopoulos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Markos Bibis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ilias Sinetopoulos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alex Chamberlain charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alex Chamberlain the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 42 played minutes FC CORFU got a freekick which was hit by Alex Chamberlain. After 43 played minutes PAOK got a freekick which was hit by Isidoros Saloufidis. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ilias Sinetopoulos was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Giorgos Tomaras recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Petros Pantazidis. Giorgos Tomaras showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. Markos Bibis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ilias Sinetopoulos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Markos Bibis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ilias Sinetopoulos's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. In the 65th minute, Nasos Patakos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 67th minute of the match, Anestis Tzougarakis got a very nice opportunity to score, but Petros Pantazidis was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Isidoros Saloufidis kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. After 78 played minutes PAOK got a freekick which was hit by Nasos Patakos. Franciszek Osowski's late challenge caught a PAOK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Franciszek Osowski helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, FC CORFU's Franciszek Osowski got a free kick in the 80th minute. After some careless play in the FC CORFU defense, Isidoros Saloufidis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Petros Pantazidis. The FC CORFU fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Petros Pantazidis should have stopped the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Isidoros Saloufidis kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Petros Pantazidis. That made the score 0-6 in the 89 minute of play. Markos Bibis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ilias Sinetopoulos, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. In the 96th minute, Sotiris Grigoriadis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match was over PAOK could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than FC CORFU throughout the match.
