When Dimitris Miriounis came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Crow fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dimitris Miriounis couldn't finish the play. After recieving a nice pass, Crow's Makis Giotatos tried to score from far away in the 31st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 32nd minute, Crow's Dimitris Miriounis dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0. 38 minutes into the match, Crow's Dimitris Miriounis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Themis Vouzatos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With an all-out effort, Crow's Themis Vouzatos threw himself towards the right post 40 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Dimitris Miriounis, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Themis Vouzatos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dimitris Miriounis in the 45th minute of play. After having played for 46 minutes, Fotis Mantzouranas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Crow's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fotis Mantzouranas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Themis Vouzatos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dimitris Miriounis in the 48th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dimitris Miriounis made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Monodhendri FC's zone, Dimitris Miriounis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Themis Vouzatos came out of the goal and Dimitris Miriounis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Dimitris Miriounis came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Crow fans jumped to their feet. Themis Vouzatos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Dimitris Miriounis scored 6-0 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Themis Vouzatos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Dimitris Miriounis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match clock showed 70 minutes, the score became 7-0 when Dimitris Miriounis sped through Monodhendri FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Themis Vouzatos. After 72 minutes, Thalis Argyris mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Crow and the Monodhendri FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 72nd match minute, Crow was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thalis Argyris to maneuver through the defense. Akakios Strilakos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Themis Vouzatos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 78 minutes into the game, Crow's Dimitris Miriounis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. The Crow fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 9-0. Giorgos Meletopoulos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nelsinho Fonseca in the 84th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Monodhendri FC's zone, Dimitris Miriounis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Themis Vouzatos came out of the goal and Dimitris Miriounis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 97th minute Dimitris Miriounis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Themis Vouzatos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Crow players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
