Spectators: 8491 (Terracing: 6369, Seating: 1953, VIP seats: 169) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ilias Sinetopoulos took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind PAOK's goalkeeper Markos Bibis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Ilias Sinetopoulos managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC CORFU's supporters rose to their feet, but Ilias Sinetopoulos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Markos Bibis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, PAOK's Anestis Tzougarakis got a free kick in the 7th minute. Sotiris Grigoriadis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Makis Papaikonomou during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Makis Papaikonomou kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Petros Pantazidis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Anestis Tzougarakis went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, FC CORFU's Ilias Sinetopoulos got a free kick in the 20th minute. PAOK's Anestis Tzougarakis quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Chatziioannou Karidas, made in the 22nd minute of the game. After 22 minutes of play, PAOK's Anestis Tzougarakis made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Petros Pantazidis was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ilias Sinetopoulos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Markos Bibis having to interfere. Markos Bibis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ilias Sinetopoulos's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. After 32 minutes PAOK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Franciszek Osowski who took care of the corner kick. The corner led FC CORFU's Franciszek Osowski to fire away a dangerous shot which Markos Bibis despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Ilias Sinetopoulos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Markos Bibis having to interfere. Giorgos Tomaras could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Petros Pantazidis made a huge save. Achilleas Kouradakis was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 39 minutes into the match. Achilleas Kouradakis kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match.

The wind increased when Anestis Tzougarakis made the kick off in the second half. In the 59th minute Giorgos Tomaras shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petros Pantazidis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Ilias Sinetopoulos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of PAOK booed when FC CORFU was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Milosz Witek didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 65 played minutes, PAOK's Anestis Tzougarakis shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Petros Pantazidis came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in PAOK reached it. PAOK's Stathis Kalokliros was substituted for Nasos Patakos. The supporters of PAOK booed when FC CORFU was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Milosz Witek didn't get a good kick on the ball. Petros Pantazidis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stathis Kalokliros in the 68th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Giorgos Tomaras in the 69th minute of play forced FC CORFU's goalkeeper Petros Pantazidis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. PAOK made a substitution. Isidoros Saloufidis replaced Giorgos Tomaras. The throw-in from Aimilios Eleftheriadis in the 74th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by FC CORFU's Alex Chamberlain. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ilias Sinetopoulos in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Markos Bibis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Markos Bibis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alex Chamberlain in the 79th minute of play. After having played for 84 minutes, Ilias Sinetopoulos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC CORFU's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ilias Sinetopoulos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 85th minute Franciszek Osowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Markos Bibis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC CORFU's Petros Pantazidis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Makis Papaikonomou in the 88th minute of play. In the 91st minute Stathis Kalokliros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petros Pantazidis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 92 minutes, Milosz Witek mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC CORFU and the PAOK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Anestis Tzougarakis, 93 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The supporters of FC CORFU booed when PAOK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Panos Kornelakis didn't get a good kick on the ball. PAOK walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
