Nasos Ieronimakis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aleksandar Špoljarić, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Εθνικός Αστέρας's Kleon Tsoutsikas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stratos Papazoglou in the 21st minute of play. ΑΘΛΗΤΙΚΗ ΕΝΩΣΗ ΚΩΝΣΤΑΝΤΙΝ were awarded a corner in the 22th minute after Εθνικός Αστέρας's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. 陶青卫 took the corner. 陶青卫 made a great header on ΑΘΛΗΤΙΚΗ ΕΝΩΣΗ ΚΩΝΣΤΑΝΤΙΝ's corner, it was just that Εθνικός Αστέρας's Kleon Tsoutsikas managed to reach the ball for a save. Boland McJohn could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Nasos Ieronimakis made a huge save. Nasos Ieronimakis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aleksandar Špoljarić in the 44th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
