The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 5th minute of the game. One of ARXIPAPATZHS FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Εθνικός Αστέρας:s goal. A hard shot 9 in the game by Boland McJohn from a close distance when the talented Sokratis Grigoroulis managed to make a qualified save. ARXIPAPATZHS FC's players were relieved. When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Aleksandar Špoljarić took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Sokratis Grigoroulis to make any attempt to save it. After a rather tough play, ARXIPAPATZHS FC's Kostas Psaltis got a free kick in the 19th minute. Aleksandar Špoljarić succeeded in the game's 20th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-0. After 25 minutes ARXIPAPATZHS FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Boland McJohn who took care of the corner kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Εθνικός Αστέρας's Boland McJohn slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Sokratis Grigoroulis. That made the score 4-0 after 27 minutes of play. After 30 minutes, Boland McJohn made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side. ARXIPAPATZHS FC's Sokratis Grigoroulis tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. With his leg Sokratis Grigoroulis managed to avoid a goal in the 33rdth minute, when Εθνικός Αστέρας's Boland McJohn fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpected shot in the 35th minute by Aleksandar Špoljarić got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 35th minute, Boland McJohn ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sokratis Grigoroulis was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. Aleksandar Špoljarić recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ilias Mavrakos charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ilias Mavrakos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 42nd match minute, ARXIPAPATZHS FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ilias Mavrakos to maneuver through the defense. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Boland McJohn was the one to do the kick off. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 8-0 became the score in the 59th minute when Boland McJohn elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 61stth minute of the game Aleksandar Špoljarić who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ARXIPAPATZHS FC's Sokratis Grigoroulis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a little luck, Εθνικός Αστέρας's Kleon Tsoutsikas got control of the ball when Ilias Mavrakos tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 62nd minute, Ilias Mavrakos reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Kleon Tsoutsikas. The goal made the score 8-1. In the 66th minute, Aleksandar Špoljarić got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sokratis Grigoroulis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Boland McJohn in the 69th minute of the match. After 70 played minutes ARXIPAPATZHS FC got a freekick which was hit by Hamdan Al Hajraf. In the 71st minute Aleksandar Špoljarić shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sokratis Grigoroulis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Boland McJohn's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sokratis Grigoroulis was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. In the 88thth minute of the game Boland McJohn who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ARXIPAPATZHS FC's Sokratis Grigoroulis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aleksandar Špoljarić in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sokratis Grigoroulis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 95 minutes into the game, Εθνικός Αστέρας's Stratos Melisofagos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sokratis Grigoroulis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 10-1. There was no doubt that Εθνικός Αστέρας were the better team. Εθνικός Αστέρας's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
