The audience thought a goal was coming when Konstantinos Psiloglou got free with Ignacy Jazowski in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Valerios Paboulis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vaggelis Bakogiannopoulos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 16 minutes into the match, Gozilla's goalkeeper Ignacy Jazowski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dionysis Stamatiou. Amfithea Hotspur's Valerios Paboulis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valentinos Skiadopoulos in the 19th minute of play. Dionysis Stamatiou succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 21st playminute. 23 minutes into the match, Gozilla's goal looked a bit too open when Dionysis Stamatiou came free, but Ignacy Jazowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 24th minute, one of Amfithea Hotspur:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Amfithea Hotspur. Valerios Paboulis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vaggelis Bakogiannopoulos in the 28th minute of play. 32 minutes into the match, Gozilla's goal looked a bit too open when Christos Triantis came free, but Ignacy Jazowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vaggelis Bakogiannopoulos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valerios Paboulis having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 37 minutes, Ignacy Jazowski successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Dionysis Stamatiou received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ignacy Jazowski came out and tried to block the shot, but Dionysis Stamatiou slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 39th minute. Valerios Paboulis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vaggelis Bakogiannopoulos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gozilla's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Vaggelis Malesios in the 44th minute. Vaggelis Malesios made a great header on Gozilla's corner, it was just that Amfithea Hotspur's Valerios Paboulis managed to reach the ball for a save. A collision led to Gozilla getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Marín Vache hit a great ball. In the 46th minute of the match Konstantinos Psiloglou sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ignacy Jazowski skillfully saved the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.
The wind increased when Dionysis Stamatiou made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Gozilla's zone, Konstantinos Psiloglou stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ignacy Jazowski came out of the goal and Konstantinos Psiloglou tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gozilla's Vaggelis Bakogiannopoulos got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ignacy Jazowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dionysis Stamatiou in the 74th minute of the match. In the 75th minute, Stathis Panagakis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Konstantinos Psiloglou received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Ignacy Jazowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gozilla's Kostas Koutsis managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Charilaos Dimitrakis in the 80 minute of the game. After having played for 81 minutes, Vaggelis Bakogiannopoulos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gozilla's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vaggelis Bakogiannopoulos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ignacy Jazowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dionysis Stamatiou in the 85th minute of play. 86 minutes into the game, Vaggelis Bakogiannopoulos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Valerios Paboulis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind Amfithea Hotspur's goalkeeper Valerios Paboulis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Gozilla's Vaggelis Malesios got a free kick in the 97th minute. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
