Michalis Papaefthimiou made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marios Kareklidis in the 55th minute of play. Themistoklis Lefkopoulos kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in P.A.O.K FC's zone, Christos Mitroulis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Michalis Papaefthimiou came out of the goal and Christos Mitroulis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Balaban Haliloğlu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Dimitris Keratzoglou made a huge save. Through an outstanding action, after 81 minutes, Dimitris Keratzoglou successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 82 minutes had been played when some careless play by Green Hell F.C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Nilson Paraíba was slow to take the kick. During this time P.A.O.K FC's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Balaban Haliloğlu got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Dimitris Keratzoglou quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Michalis Papaefthimiou took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marios Kareklidis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. P.A.O.K FC played a much better game than Green Hell F.C. and deserved their victory. The Green Hell F.C. players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
