Loco Higuita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Odysseas Lazaroglou in the 7th minute of play. Grigoris Zacharas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Babbis Tapinos in the 7th minute of the match. Tadeusz Jekot hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Sakis Kastanos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Grigoris Zacharas made a huge save. In the 13th minute, Odysseas Lazaroglou ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Loco Higuita was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Loco Higuita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emil Giurcă, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Fotis Pegiadis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When KYRTAKIA ARE BACK!!!!!!!!'s Valeriu Panaitescu in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye AEK KAVALAS FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 38th minute Fotis Pegiadis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Loco Higuita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Loco Higuita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fotis Pegiadis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 43rd minute Odysseas Lazaroglou shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Loco Higuita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Takis Rodostoglou in the 44th minute of play forced KYRTAKIA ARE BACK!!!!!!!!'s goalkeeper Loco Higuita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. AEK KAVALAS FC's Grigoris Zacharas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valeriu Panaitescu in the 46th minute of play. After 47 played minutes AEK KAVALAS FC got a freekick which was hit by Odysseas Lazaroglou. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Odysseas Lazaroglou to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to KYRTAKIA ARE BACK!!!!!!!! getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. George Vasiloiu hit a great ball. Fotis Pegiadis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Loco Higuita having to interfere. AEK KAVALAS FC's Grigoris Zacharas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Babbis Tapinos in the 55th minute of play. In the 58th minute, AEK KAVALAS FC's Fotis Pegiadis ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Loco Higuita. Loco Higuita yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. The supporters of KYRTAKIA ARE BACK!!!!!!!! booed when AEK KAVALAS FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Achilleas Karapostolou didn't get a good kick on the ball. AEK KAVALAS FC's Grigoris Zacharas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sakis Kastanos in the 62nd minute of play. Grigoris Zacharas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sakis Kastanos, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. 62 minutes into the match, AEK KAVALAS FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sakis Kastanos came free, but Grigoris Zacharas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Odysseas Lazaroglou came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the AEK KAVALAS FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Odysseas Lazaroglou couldn't finish the play. AEK KAVALAS FC made a substitution. Hermenegildo Monteiro replaced Fotis Pegiadis. When the match clock showed 71 minutes, the score became 3-2 when Babbis Tapinos sped through AEK KAVALAS FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Grigoris Zacharas. Grigoris Zacharas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sakis Kastanos in the 73rd minute of the match. Babbis Tapinos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in KYRTAKIA ARE BACK!!!!!!!!'s zone, Odysseas Lazaroglou stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Loco Higuita came out of the goal and Odysseas Lazaroglou tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. KYRTAKIA ARE BACK!!!!!!!!'s Loco Higuita proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save KYRTAKIA ARE BACK!!!!!!!! from getting a goal against them. AEK KAVALAS FC's Dimosthenis Papachantzoulis was substituted for Makis Labiridis. In the 89th minute Hermenegildo Monteiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Loco Higuita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Grigoris Zacharas came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by KYRTAKIA ARE BACK!!!!!!!!'s Babbis Tapinos. But to his dismay, Babbis Tapinos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. In the 93rd minute Sakis Kastanos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Grigoris Zacharas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Grigoris Zacharas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valeriu Panaitescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. AEK KAVALAS FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
