The Glyka Nera FC fans' excitement grew in the 5th match minute when Glyka Nera FC's He Zheng Xing looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 9th minute, He Zheng Xing left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Glyka Nera FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Minas Labiris made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from He Zheng Xing in the 13th minute of play. In the 17th minute, He Zheng Xing made a precise shot to the right of Minas Labiris. Trifiliakos A.O.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. 24 minutes had been played when some careless play by Trifiliakos A.O.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Kostas Kalamaridis was slow to take the kick. During this time Glyka Nera FC's players had a chance to rest. In the 27th minute of the match, Fotis Briakos got a very nice opportunity to score, but Narciso Eusko was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 29thth minute of the game He Zheng Xing who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Trifiliakos A.O.'s Minas Labiris was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Minas Labiris showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from He Zheng Xing, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. The supporters of Glyka Nera FC booed when Trifiliakos A.O. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sakis Evaggellakis didn't get a good kick on the ball. 35 minutes into the game, He Zheng Xing cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Minas Labiris was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 40th minute Stig-Inge Nymoen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Minas Labiris saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fotis Briakos to strike the kick off in the second half. If He Zheng Xing had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 54th minute Stig-Inge Nymoen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Minas Labiris saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Theofanis Tsouloufas during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Trifiliakos A.O. getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Theofanis Tsouloufas hit a great ball. He Zheng Xing showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-7. When Thanasis Kavoukis came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Trifiliakos A.O. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Thanasis Kavoukis couldn't finish the play. 75 minutes into the match, Glyka Nera FC's Stig-Inge Nymoen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Minas Labiris narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Louis Lazaris kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when He Zheng Xing got free with Minas Labiris in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 81st minute, Stig-Inge Nymoen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 83rdth minute of the game He Zheng Xing who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Trifiliakos A.O.'s Minas Labiris was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling He Zheng Xing in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Minas Labiris prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With his leg Minas Labiris managed to avoid a goal in the 89thth minute, when Glyka Nera FC's He Zheng Xing fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sakis Evaggellakis during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Trifiliakos A.O. getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Sakis Evaggellakis hit a great ball. Minas Labiris took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stig-Inge Nymoen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Stig-Inge Nymoen struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Minas Labiris didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Glyka Nera FC. Savas Zaradoukas kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Louis Lazaris in the 95th minute of play forced Glyka Nera FC's goalkeeper Narciso Eusko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Trifiliakos A.O. supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Glyka Nera FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Glyka Nera FC.
