Spectators: 9230 (Terracing: 6924, Seating: 2123, VIP seats: 183) Fotis Briakos made the kick off and thus started the match. 4 minutes into the match, Trifiliakos A.O.'s goal looked a bit too open when Kostas Fasoulis came free, but Minas Labiris reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 5 minutes Trifiliakos A.O.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Stratos Kabantais who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Stratos Kabantais almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Trifiliakos A.O.'s Minas Labiris did a great save. A collision led to Xarilaou FC getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Paolo Oliveiro hit a great ball. Kostas Kourmouzis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Theofanis Tsouloufas, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Kostas Fasoulis spun around in front of the goal 9 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Trifiliakos A.O.'s goal. Minas Labiris made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kostas Fasoulis in the 13th minute of play. Trifiliakos A.O.'s Fotis Briakos got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kostas Kourmouzis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Theofanis Tsouloufas went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 26th match minute, Trifiliakos A.O. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Louis Lazaris to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Aris Seletopoulos kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Kostas Kourmouzis. That made the score 2-1 in the 29 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stratos Kabantais in the 32nd minute of play forced Trifiliakos A.O.'s goalkeeper Minas Labiris to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Thanasis Kavoukis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 39thth minute of the game Stratos Kabantais who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Trifiliakos A.O.'s Minas Labiris was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kostas Fasoulis in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Minas Labiris saved Trifiliakos A.O. from getting behind. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Xarilaou FC made a substitution. Thodoris Loubakis replaced Stratos Kabantais. Kostas Kourmouzis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aris Seletopoulos in the 54th minute of play. Kostas Kourmouzis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fotis Briakos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Trifiliakos A.O.'s Fotis Briakos in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Xarilaou FC's goalie prevented a goal. Xarilaou FC's Kostas Kourmouzis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fotis Briakos in the 61st minute of play. If Thodoris Loubakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Xarilaou FC's Fotis Mitsis was substituted for Paolo Oliveiro. The audience was convinced that Fotis Briakos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kostas Kourmouzis was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. Kostas Kourmouzis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fotis Briakos in the 67th minute of the match. In the 69th minute Thodoris Loubakis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Minas Labiris saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 71st minute of the match Xarilaou FC got a corner. Trifiliakos A.O.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Fanis Skaltsas ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Christodoulos Troglis almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Trifiliakos A.O.'s Minas Labiris did a great save. In the 72nd minute Xarilaou FC were awarded a corner. Fanis Skaltsas went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Fanis Skaltsas got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Minas Labiris quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thanasis Kavoukis in the 75th minute of play forced Xarilaou FC's goalkeeper Kostas Kourmouzis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kostas Kourmouzis came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Trifiliakos A.O.'s Louis Lazaris. But to his dismay, Louis Lazaris quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Minas Labiris made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Kostas Fasoulis sent off a good shot on target. In the 82nd minute of the match Xarilaou FC got a corner. Trifiliakos A.O.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Fanis Skaltsas ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Xarilaou FC's corner Fanis Skaltsas fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Minas Labiris quite easily take care of the ball. After 83rd play minutes Thodoris Loubakis shot 3-2, a short shot which went by Minas Labiris and just under the crossbar into goal. Christodoulos Troglis charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Christodoulos Troglis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Xarilaou FC getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Christodoulos Troglis hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thanasis Kavoukis in the 87th minute of play forced Xarilaou FC's goalkeeper Kostas Kourmouzis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Xarilaou FC booed when Trifiliakos A.O. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ntinos Berios didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kostas Fasoulis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
