The supporters of GREEN LIONS booed when BPS F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Giannis Ballas didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Alekos Argyrakis fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored BPS F.C.'s protests and gave Alekos Argyrakis a yellow card for diving instead. In the 15th minute, Alekos Argyrakis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tolis Prinianakis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fanis Prekkas in the 17th minute of play. Stathis Georgatos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Merexildo Raimundo in the 20th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 22 minutes, Stathis Georgatos successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Calisto Flayre blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Stathis Georgatos having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fanis Prekkas in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tolis Prinianakis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 29 minutes into the match, BPS F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Calisto Flayre came free, but Stathis Georgatos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th minute GREEN LIONS were awarded a corner. 狄正希 went to the cornerflag to take it. GREEN LIONS's 狄正希 was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Stathis Georgatos in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The audience was convinced that Calisto Flayre's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Stathis Georgatos was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. Stathis Georgatos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Calisto Flayre, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Calisto Flayre to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, GREEN LIONS's Calisto Flayre sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Stathis Georgatos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Merexildo Raimundo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stathis Georgatos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Calisto Flayre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Stathis Georgatos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Calisto Flayre in the 57th minute of the match. Nikos Kipouros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Nikos Kipouros managed to get in a good position for a shot. BPS F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Nikos Kipouros was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tolis Prinianakis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in BPS F.C.'s zone, Calisto Flayre stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stathis Georgatos came out of the goal and Calisto Flayre tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, BPS F.C.'s Michalis Lekanis got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Nikitas Galanos hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. BPS F.C.'s Stathis Georgatos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Calisto Flayre in the 68th minute of play. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind BPS F.C.'s goalkeeper Stathis Georgatos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Stathis Georgatos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Merexildo Raimundo in the 72nd minute of the match. A hard, long distance shot from Aimilios Mitsakos flew over the goal. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind GREEN LIONS's goalkeeper Tolis Prinianakis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A well-hit corner resulted in Nikos Kipouros heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 85th minute Merexildo Raimundo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stathis Georgatos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of BPS F.C. booed when GREEN LIONS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patryk Jazowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tolis Prinianakis was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Kostas Katergiannakis. For all the effort they put into the match, the BPS F.C. players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for GREEN LIONS.
