With a little luck, ΟΦΗ's Ilias Seichanidis got control of the ball when Panagiotis Kavazis tried to sneak it across the goal line. Panagiotis Kavazis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 12th minute Apostolis Kalopoulos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evaggelos Kazazis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 17th minute of the match Trivνdhi got a corner. ΟΦΗ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tom Hollande ran over to the corner to take the kick. If Panagiotis Kavazis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 19 minutes into the match, ΟΦΗ's goalkeeper Ilias Seichanidis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Panagiotis Kavazis. In the 22nd minute, Giorgos Bletsios hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 23 minutes, Panagiotis Kavazis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Trivνdhi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Panagiotis Kavazis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 25 minutes into the match, Panagiotis Kavazis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ilias Seichanidis. ΟΦΗ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Panagiotis Kavazis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Giorgos Bletsios made in the 28th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Trivνdhi's Spyros Zelelidis. Panagiotis Kavaziss short, quick shot in the 30thth minute got Ilias Seichanidis to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 31 minutes into the match, ΟΦΗ's goal looked a bit too open when Panagiotis Kavazis came free, but Ilias Seichanidis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Evaggelos Kazazis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Augusto Landero in the 33rd minute of the match. Giorgos Bletsios made in the 36th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Trivνdhi's Spyros Zelelidis. In the 37th minute, Angelito Caballero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Giannis Traboukidis fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Trivνdhi's protests and gave Giannis Traboukidis a yellow card for diving instead. In the 42nd minute, Spyros Zelelidis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 43rd minute Babbis Theodorakakos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evaggelos Kazazis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Trivνdhi's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tom Hollande in the 47th minute. A well-hit corner resulted in Panagiotis Kavazis heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nasos Papadis made a kick off. Ilias Seichanidis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Panagiotis Kavazis in the 52nd minute of the match. In the 54th minute Panagiotis Kavazis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ilias Seichanidis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Trivνdhi booed when ΟΦΗ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Giorgos Bletsios didn't get a good kick on the ball. Augusto Landero could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Evaggelos Kazazis made a huge save. In the 59th minute, Apostolis Kalopoulos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ilias Seichanidis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Panagiotis Kavazis's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. Ilias Seichanidis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Panagiotis Kavazis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Trivνdhi made a substitution. Dimitris Peravrechidis replaced Angelito Caballero. The throw-in from Giorgos Bletsios in the 74th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Trivνdhi's Spyros Zelelidis. In the 79th minute, Tom Hollande hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 82nd minute, Dimitris Peravrechidis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ilias Seichanidis was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Dimitris Peravrechidis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ilias Seichanidis having to interfere. Nasos Papadis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Evaggelos Kazazis made a huge save. Ilias Seichanidis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Panagiotis Kavazis in the 89th minute of the match. Panagiotis Kavazis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Ilias Seichanidis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Trivνdhi were victorious despite being under pressure from ΟΦΗ for much of the match.
