In the 5thth minute of the game Thalis Krommidas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Πυργετός Fc's Lucho Putin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 7 minutes had been played when some careless play by Πυργετός Fc's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Kevin Carreira was slow to take the kick. During this time AEK S.C's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Kevin Carreira almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Πυργετός Fc's Lucho Putin did a great save. 10 minutes into the match, Πυργετός Fc's goal looked a bit too open when Thalis Krommidas came free, but Lucho Putin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lucho Putin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vaggelis Mitsiou, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the AEK S.C players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Πυργετός Fc.
