Santiago Silva's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Yahia van der Saar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. 92 minutes into the match, Clayton Gol had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ingvar Nykvist. ΠΑΟΚ FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Clayton Gol was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2.
