Thibaut Courtois made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Vaggelis Georgiadis sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vassilis Tournas in the 14th minute of play forced GREEN PANTHERS FC's goalkeeper Fragiskos Saitiotis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thibaut Courtois took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marios Mostratos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Tabachana F.C. getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Avraam Lykoudis hit a great ball. GREEN PANTHERS FC's Fragiskos Saitiotis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Avraam Lykoudis in the 26th minute of play. Thibaut Courtois showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marios Mostratos in the 30th minute of the match. 30 minutes into the match, Tabachana F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Marios Mostratos came free, but Thibaut Courtois reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Tabachana F.C. booed when GREEN PANTHERS FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marios Mostratos didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Avraam Lykoudis in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fragiskos Saitiotis saved GREEN PANTHERS FC from getting behind. 40 minutes into the game, GREEN PANTHERS FC's Nikos Dentsas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Thibaut Courtois made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kostas Theofilidis got free with Thibaut Courtois in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 46 minutes into the match, Tabachana F.C.'s goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kostas Theofilidis. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Stathis Psaltis hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. In the 60th minute, Panos Pachopoulos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 70 minutes into the game, Stathis Kaligoulas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tabachana F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave GREEN PANTHERS FC the free kick. Thibaut Courtois showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nikos Dentsas, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. A collision led to GREEN PANTHERS FC getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Alkaios Beos hit a great ball. After having played for 77 minutes, Vassilis Tournas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tabachana F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Vassilis Tournas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tabachana F.C.'s Thibaut Courtois played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kostas Theofilidis in the 79th minute of play. 83 minutes into the match, Tabachana F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Vaggelis Georgiadis came free, but Thibaut Courtois reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Tabachana F.C. defense, Nikos Dentsas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Thibaut Courtois. The Tabachana F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Thibaut Courtois should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Tabachana F.C.'s Vassilis Tournas got a free kick in the 89th minute.
