Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Bastö's Aadolf Kesä started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 7th minute Ilmari Rantamäki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anselmi Hana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Nousis's Juhana Kananen in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bastö's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of Nousis booed when Bastö was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aleksanteri Brunila didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Lauri Hyökyvaara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 19th minute, Bastö's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ilmari Rantamäki fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 22 minutes into the match, Nousis's goal looked a bit too open when Arto Paukkunen came free, but Joakim Junnila reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joakim Junnila didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aadolf Kesä went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 26th minute Esko Henriksson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joakim Junnila saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anselmi Hana stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ilmari Rantamäki's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. In the 45th minute, Arto Paukkunen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Kullervo Valin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Ilmari Rantamäki recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Manne Sainio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Anselmi Hana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nousis made a substitution. Leif Tammisto replaced Juhana Kananen. Leif Tammisto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anselmi Hana having to interfere. A collision led to Nousis getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Lauri Riihijärvi hit a great ball. 82 minutes into the match, Nousis's goal looked a bit too open when Aadolf Kesä came free, but Joakim Junnila reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 83rd minute, Martti Tuovinen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kullervo Valin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leif Tammisto might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Anselmi Hana. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Leif Tammisto ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 95thth minute of the game Leif Tammisto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bastö's Anselmi Hana was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Bastö getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Arto Paukkunen hit a great ball. Anselmi Hana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martti Tuovinen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There was no doubt that Nousis were the better team. Nousis's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
