Spectators: 7679 (Terracing: 5760, Seating: 1766, VIP seats: 153) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Zdravko Topchiev started the match with the kick off. After 3 played minutes Thors Hammers got a freekick which was hit by Erno Ruisniemi. 0-1 became the score in the 5th minute when Zdravko Topchiev elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 8 minutes into the match, Toni Holtti had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Santtu Pihlman. Thors Hammers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Toni Holtti was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 11th minute, Keimo Järvinen reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Santtu Pihlman. The goal made the score 2-1. 15 minutes into the match, Thors Hammers's Zdravko Topchiev sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Leo Timonen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 16 minutes had been played when some careless play by Liverpool FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Zdravko Topchiev was slow to take the kick. During this time Thors Hammers's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Thors Hammers's corner Zdravko Topchiev fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Leo Timonen quite easily take care of the ball. 19 minutes into the game, Liverpool FC's Keimo Järvinen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Santtu Pihlman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. In the 23rd match minute, Liverpool FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roope Olkkonen to maneuver through the defense. Leo Timonen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lasse Kirjonen, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Leo Timonen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pauli Saarela in the 26th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Iisakki Salmela during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Santtu Pihlman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iisakki Salmela in the 35th minute of the match. Liverpool FC's Iisakki Salmela got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Keimo Järvinen in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Santtu Pihlman saved Thors Hammers from getting behind. Thors Hammers's Santtu Pihlman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iisakki Salmela in the 39th minute of play. Leo Timonen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zdravko Topchiev in the 43rd minute of play. The supporters of Liverpool FC booed when Thors Hammers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erno Ruisniemi didn't get a good kick on the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Toni Holtti to make the kick off. Santtu Pihlman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Toni Holtti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Santtu Pihlman came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Liverpool FC's Keimo Järvinen. But to his dismay, Keimo Järvinen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Santtu Pihlman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Toni Holtti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Santtu Pihlman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iisakki Salmela, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Leo Timonen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pauli Saarela in the 60th minute. Santtu Pihlman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iisakki Salmela, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Toni Holtti recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Thors Hammers defense, Iisakki Salmela kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Santtu Pihlman. The Thors Hammers fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Santtu Pihlman should have stopped the shot. In the 74th minute, Toni Holtti left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Liverpool FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-1. Thors Hammers's Santtu Pihlman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Keimo Järvinen in the 77th minute of play. 78 minutes into the game, Richard Runnel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Thors Hammers's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Liverpool FC the free kick. The supporters of Liverpool FC booed when Thors Hammers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Richard Runnel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Santtu Pihlman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Toni Holtti in the 82nd minute of the match. Santtu Pihlman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Keimo Järvinen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Liverpool FC fully deserved thier win.
