Spectators: 7410 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1758, VIP seats: 152) Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arnulfo Lalla in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tudor Filipașcu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Viipurin Palloseura's Panu Kopola in the 8th minute got a chance for a shot 8th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Koitto's goalie prevented a goal. Arnulfo Lalla kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Viipurin Palloseura's Fabiën Meyer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Viipurin Palloseura from getting a goal against them. Tudor Filipașcu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Panu Kopola in the 13th minute of play. Manne Villanen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 19th match minute, FC Koitto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martti Puranen to maneuver through the defense. Fabiën Meyer made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Uljas Repo sent off a good shot on target. After 24 minutes, Manne Villanen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Viipurin Palloseura and the FC Koitto players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 24th match minute, Viipurin Palloseura was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manne Villanen to maneuver through the defense. In the 29th minute, Viipurin Palloseura's Tuomo Kalliokoski seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Tuomo Kalliokoski the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Viipurin Palloseura protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Tuomo Kalliokoski had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. A collision led to Viipurin Palloseura getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Tuomo Kalliokoski hit a great ball. In the 30th minute of the match Nikolai Kuhta shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fabiën Meyer showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Viipurin Palloseura's Fabiën Meyer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Viipurin Palloseura from getting a goal against them. In the 33rd match minute, Viipurin Palloseura was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manne Villanen to maneuver through the defense. Nikolai Kuhta struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Fabiën Meyer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Koitto. Viipurin Palloseura's Manne Villanen managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Taavi Palenius in the 42 minute of the game. Ahvo Holtti hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Fabiën Meyer made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Uljas Repo sent off a good shot on target.

After a rather tough play, FC Koitto's Mikko Vehmanen got a free kick in the 55th minute. Tudor Filipașcu came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Viipurin Palloseura's Arnulfo Lalla. But to his dismay, Arnulfo Lalla quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 65th minute, Arnulfo Lalla left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Viipurin Palloseura fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. FC Koitto's Kaapo Timoska was substituted for Vilhelm Pynnönen. 70 minutes into the match, Uljas Repo notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Viipurin Palloseura's Fabiën Meyer. Fabiën Meyer was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Fabiën Meyer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kaapo Timoska in the 74th minute of play. The supporters of FC Koitto booed when Viipurin Palloseura was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jukka-Pekka Ryynänen didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Viipurin Palloseura getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Tony Lumijärvi hit a great ball. Dalmau Acaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabiën Meyer having to interfere. 92 minutes into the match, FC Koitto's goalkeeper Tudor Filipașcu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arnulfo Lalla. Although FC Koitto had been in control for most of the match, Viipurin Palloseura still came away with the win.
