After having played for 14 minutes, Aatto Koivisto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Möbel's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aatto Koivisto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mietunperä IFK's Anssi Väisänen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ilari Ruisniemi in the 17th minute of play. Ilari Ruisniemi struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Anssi Väisänen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Möbel. In the 20th match minute, Mietunperä IFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tuukka Kuokkanen to maneuver through the defense. Kaleva Seppo hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Mietunperä IFK's zone, Ilari Ruisniemi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anssi Väisänen came out of the goal and Ilari Ruisniemi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ilari Ruisniemi in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anssi Väisänen saved Mietunperä IFK from getting behind. In the 33rd minute, FC Möbel's Ilari Ruisniemi dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ilari Ruisniemi in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anssi Väisänen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ilari Ruisniemi who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 39thth minute tested the skills of Anssi Väisänen when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In a very dangerous position, a player in Mietunperä IFK fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 41st minute. Penalty! Aatto Koivisto shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. After 44th play minutes Ilari Ruisniemi shot 3-0, a short shot which went by Anssi Väisänen and just under the crossbar into goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ilari Ruisniemi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Anssi Väisänen was left in no man's land by his defense there! 60 minutes into the match, Väinö Venäläinen notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Mietunperä IFK's Anssi Väisänen. Anssi Väisänen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Kaleva Seppo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 74th minute Ilari Ruisniemi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anssi Väisänen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kaleva Seppo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Anssi Väisänen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Ilari Ruisniemi managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Möbel's supporters rose to their feet, but Ilari Ruisniemi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anssi Väisänen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Väinö Venäläinen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Väinö Venäläinen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anssi Väisänen having to interfere. After 85 played minutes Mietunperä IFK got a freekick which was hit by Yrjänä Rantamäki. The throw-in from Kasperi Lönnblad in the 88th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by FC Möbel's Ilari Ruisniemi. 89 minutes into the match, Ilari Ruisniemi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Anssi Väisänen. Mietunperä IFK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ilari Ruisniemi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. Anssi Väisänen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ilari Ruisniemi in the 96th minute of the match. FC Möbel's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
