Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Petri Suutarinen started the match with the kick off. 4 minutes into the match, Petri Suutarinen dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Pauli Tukio, 1-0. 13 minutes into the match, Kurdakan's goal looked a bit too open when Päiviö Siivonen came free, but Hemminki Kultanen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 16th minute, Viantie IFK's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ilari Torkki fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Ilari Torkki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pauli Tukio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Petri Suutarinen in the 18th minute of play. In the 21st match minute, Kurdakan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albert Kunnas to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 26 minutes, Ilari Torkki managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kurdakan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ilari Torkki was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 28th minute, Petri Suutarinen made a precise shot to the right of Pauli Tukio. Viantie IFK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. If Ilari Torkki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Viantie IFK's Pauli Tukio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Petri Suutarinen in the 44th minute of play. In the 46th minute, Petri Suutarinen fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Pauli Tukio, passed just outside the right post. When Petri Suutarinen came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Kurdakan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Petri Suutarinen couldn't finish the play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Elmeri Pettinen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Pauli Tukio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ilari Torkki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Taito Sihvonen kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Päiviö Siivonen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Viantie IFK's supporters rose to their feet, but Päiviö Siivonen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hemminki Kultanen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 65 minutes into the match, Päiviö Siivonen notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Kurdakan's Hemminki Kultanen. Hemminki Kultanen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ilari Torkki succeeded in the game's 69th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-1. 71 minutes into the match, Viantie IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Ilari Torkki came free, but Pauli Tukio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 78 minutes into the match, Petri Suutarinen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pauli Tukio. Viantie IFK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Petri Suutarinen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Petri Suutarinen in the 81st minute of play forced Viantie IFK's goalkeeper Pauli Tukio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 84th minute Petri Suutarinen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pauli Tukio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pauli Tukio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Petri Suutarinen went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. Pauli Tukio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ilari Torkki went, in the 97th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-1 was the resulting score. When the referee ended the match the Kurdakan players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
