Spectators: 6770 (Terracing: 5760, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 10) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Lasse Hakamäki got the match started through his kick off. Eerik Antila took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ismo Kiprusoff, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 10th minute of the match Pawel Giejda shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eerik Antila showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 11 minutes, Tino Kaukonen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vihteljärvi FC and the KRUTATA FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 11 played minutes Vihteljärvi FC got a freekick which was hit by Tino Kaukonen. After 15 played minutes KRUTATA FC got a freekick which was hit by Herman Hedberg. In the 21st minute, Herman Hedberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The KRUTATA FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the last second Eerik Antila throw himself and got hold of the ball when Ismo Kiprusoff in the 24thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Miko Kotilahti's late challenge caught a KRUTATA FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Miko Kotilahti helped the player get up and apologised. Miko Kotilahti kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Ismo Kiprusoff received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Eerik Antila came out and tried to block the shot, but Ismo Kiprusoff slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 37th minute. Niklas Koivumäki struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Eerik Antila didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KRUTATA FC. When Tino Kaukonen was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 44 minutes had been played. Tino Kaukonen hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

After 55 minutes, Ismo Kiprusoff mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the KRUTATA FC and the Vihteljärvi FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ismo Kiprusoff hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Vihteljärvi FC's Eerik Antila played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ismo Kiprusoff in the 66th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niklas Koivumäki in the 68th minute of play forced Vihteljärvi FC's goalkeeper Eerik Antila to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 71 minutes into the game, KRUTATA FC's Ismo Kiprusoff nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eerik Antila made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. After some careless play in the Vihteljärvi FC defense, Ismo Kiprusoff kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eerik Antila. The Vihteljärvi FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eerik Antila should have stopped the shot. Jan Jämsä charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jan Jämsä the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 81st minute, Niklas Koivumäki ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eerik Antila was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. Niklas Koivumäki took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eerik Antila. Eerik Antila dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. When the match had gone on for 95 minutes, Ismo Kiprusoff put it in 8-0 from a short distance just to the right of Eerik Antila. When the referee ended the match the KRUTATA FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
