Piotr Czubski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Perttu Laaksonen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Maunu Kirjonen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Simo Järvinen was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Uljas Hakanen. The crowd rose to their feet as Purola's Rauno Hakanen slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Simo Järvinen. That made the score 2-0 after 23 minutes of play. Perttu Laaksonen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Piotr Czubski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 30th minute, Petri Uitto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Petri Uitto got free with Simo Järvinen in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Purola's Perttu Laaksonen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Piotr Czubski in the 33rd minute of play. If Piotr Czubski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Perttu Laaksonen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Piotr Czubski went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Maunu Kirjonen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Jaakob Kattilakoski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Piotr Czubski got free with Perttu Laaksonen in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 3-1 became the score in the 63rd minute when Maunu Kirjonen elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jaakob Kattilakoski in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Perttu Laaksonen saved Purola from getting behind. In the 71st match minute, Purola was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kimmo Uitto to maneuver through the defense. Piotr Czubski who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 74thth minute tested the skills of Perttu Laaksonen when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Piotr Czubski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Perttu Laaksonen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tino Puumala kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Piotr Czubski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Perttu Laaksonen having to interfere. After 88 played minutes Purola got a freekick which was hit by Esko Urholin. Simo Järvinen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Esko Urholin in the 94th minute of the match. Simo Järvinen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Esko Urholin in the 97th minute of play. The Purola players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
