After 6 played minutes, Öllölänniemi's Martti Paatelainen shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Armas Kapanen came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Öllölänniemi reached it. Jouni Laiho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lasse Ukkonen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Veli Peltomaa in the 12th minute of play forced FC Pallolaajennus's goalkeeper Armas Kapanen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lasse Ukkonen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Miko Kallio in the 15th minute. Jouni Laiho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Öllölänniemi's zone, Jouni Laiho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lasse Ukkonen came out of the goal and Jouni Laiho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Santeri Miinalainen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kullervo Vapamaa hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. When Miko Kallio came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the FC Pallolaajennus fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Miko Kallio couldn't finish the play. In the 31st minute, Ahto Parkkonen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jouni Laiho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lasse Ukkonen having to interfere. Öllölänniemi's Lasse Ukkonen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santeri Miinalainen in the 58th minute of play. FC Pallolaajennus's Santeri Miinalainen got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Jouni Laiho managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Pallolaajennus's supporters rose to their feet, but Jouni Laiho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lasse Ukkonen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Santeri Miinalainen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lasse Ukkonen having to interfere. Miko Kallio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Santeri Miinalainen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lasse Ukkonen having to make a save. Alfred Hurme kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Miko Kallio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lasse Ukkonen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sulo Virtanen in the 79th minute of the match. Öllölänniemi's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Pallolaajennus the free kick. FC Pallolaajennus's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sulo Virtanen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 88th minute, Jouni Laiho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Anatolie Mihalachi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lasse Ukkonen having to interfere. Öllölänniemi's Lasse Ukkonen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miko Kallio in the 93rd minute of play. Santeri Miinalainen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Lasse Ukkonen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
