With a little luck, FC EloNKorjuu's Patrik Halonen got control of the ball when Daniel Pihkala tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Lasse Kaltiainen came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the FC EloNKorjuu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lasse Kaltiainen couldn't finish the play. Patrik Halonen was out of position in the 17 minute of play, and Daniel Pihkala capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Daniel Pihkala really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Benjamin Masalin kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Verneri Siponen took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Patrik Halonen to make any attempt to save it. Saul Niemi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kalervo Harikkala, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. In the 29th minute, Lasse Kaltiainen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pekko Peteri in the 34th minute of play forced Pekuri FC's goalkeeper Saul Niemi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 39 minutes into the match, Pekuri FC's goal looked a bit too open when Kalervo Harikkala came free, but Saul Niemi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pekuri FC's Saul Niemi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pekko Peteri in the 40th minute of play. When Verneri Siponen fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pekuri FC's protests and gave Verneri Siponen a yellow card for diving instead. Verneri Siponen kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. 48 minutes into the game, FC EloNKorjuu's Pekko Peteri nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Saul Niemi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The wind increased when Verneri Siponen made the kick off in the second half. Verneri Siponen struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Patrik Halonen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pekuri FC. After having played for 68 minutes, Verneri Siponen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pekuri FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Verneri Siponen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Patrik Halonen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Verneri Siponen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC EloNKorjuu's Patrik Halonen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Verneri Siponen in the 72nd minute of play. 82 minutes into the game, Verneri Siponen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Patrik Halonen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 88 minutes into the game, Kalervo Harikkala threw the ball into play from the sideline. Pekuri FC's Timo Kirjonen quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Timo Kirjonen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daniel Pihkala received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Patrik Halonen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Patrik Halonen came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Pekuri FC's Verneri Siponen. But to his dismay, Verneri Siponen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. FC EloNKorjuu's Patrik Halonen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Verneri Siponen in the 100th minute of play. Pekuri FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of FC EloNKorjuu for a fine match.
