Spectators: 7493 (Terracing: 5735, Seating: 1758, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Pekko Peteri kicked off to start the match. Patrik Halonen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oskari Kallio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pekko Peteri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Charles Huikari having to interfere. Hemminki Enola's late challenge caught a FC EloNKorjuu's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hemminki Enola helped the player get up and apologised. FC EloNKorjuu's Kalervo Harikkala got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. FC EloNKorjuu's Patrik Halonen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kaj Veikkanen in the 9th minute of play. With a little luck, Syrjäntaka FC's Charles Huikari got control of the ball when Kalervo Harikkala tried to sneak it across the goal line. FC EloNKorjuu's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Lasse Kaltiainen in the 13th minute. FC EloNKorjuu's Patrik Halonen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Einari Virtala in the 15th minute of play. Kaj Veikkanen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Patrik Halonen having to make a save. Jan-Erik Back sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Syrjäntaka FC's zone, Pekko Peteri stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Charles Huikari came out of the goal and Pekko Peteri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Syrjäntaka FC getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Kaj Veikkanen hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Einari Virtala in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Patrik Halonen saved FC EloNKorjuu from getting behind. Patrik Halonen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kaj Veikkanen, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. 26 minutes into the match, FC EloNKorjuu's goal looked a bit too open when Kaj Veikkanen came free, but Patrik Halonen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Patrik Halonen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kaj Veikkanen in the 28th minute of the match. Kalervo Harikkala received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Charles Huikari came out and tried to block the shot, but Kalervo Harikkala slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 31st minute. Tatu Varis came free with the goalkeeper in the 36th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Charles Huikari could save by the left post. In the 40th minute, Lasse Kaltiainen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Syrjäntaka FC getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Einari Virtala hit a great ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

After 59 played minutes FC EloNKorjuu got a freekick which was hit by Lauri Seppä. The crowd rose to their feet as Einari Virtala kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Patrik Halonen. That made the score 1-1 in the 62 minute of play. In the 67th minute Kalervo Harikkala shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Charles Huikari saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 70 minutes into the match, Kaj Veikkanen dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Patrik Halonen, 1-2. In the 73rd match minute, Syrjäntaka FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tero Nikkinen to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, FC EloNKorjuu's Arie de Jong got a free kick in the 75th minute. FC EloNKorjuu's Patrik Halonen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan-Erik Back in the 77th minute of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 78 minutes into the game, when Tatu Varis put in a rough tackle. After 79 played minutes FC EloNKorjuu got a freekick which was hit by Tatu Varis. When Oskari Kallio came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Syrjäntaka FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oskari Kallio couldn't finish the play. In the 88th minute, Lasse Kaltiainen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 93rd minute, Oskari Kallio sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and FC EloNKorjuu's Patrik Halonen didn't even have to move. Patrik Halonen was a little too slow when Kaj Veikkanen got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 95th minute. The score was now 1-3. The Syrjäntaka FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Syrjäntaka FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
