The Tallaa fans' excitement grew in the 6th match minute when Tallaa's Verneri Vestman looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 9 minutes into the game, Jarkko Halonen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Atso Ojansuu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 12th minute Visa Nevanlinna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santtu Lotvonen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Santtu Lotvonen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Verneri Vestman in the 18th minute of play. Ollilanperä's Aarno Somervuori got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 21 minutes into the match, Tallaa's goal looked a bit too open when Aarno Somervuori came free, but Atso Ojansuu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Visa Nevanlinna got free with Santtu Lotvonen in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee showed Patrik Kuokkanen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 44th match minute, Tallaa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patrik Kuokkanen to maneuver through the defense. 45 minutes into the match, Ollilanperä's Heikki Virta broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Niilo Kärnä kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jarkko Halonen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Aarno Somervuori had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. For all the effort they put into the match, the Ollilanperä players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Tallaa.
