The audience thought a goal was coming when Teppo Järvenpää got free with Atro Heikkinen in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 5-0 became the score in the 41st minute when Denis Chayo elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 67th minute, Teppo Järvenpää ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Atro Heikkinen was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arsi Ahonen during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Helsinki City had played much better football throughout.
