FC Lynx's Jimeno Diaz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Auvo Immonen in the 4th minute of play. Sampsa Karalahti kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. If Teemu Järventie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 14th minute, Atso Pärssinen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Lynx fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Jimeno Diaz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Auvo Immonen's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. After some careless play in the Pyörylä IFK defense, Kalevi Itäluoma kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kaarlo Paananen. The Pyörylä IFK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kaarlo Paananen should have stopped the shot. When the match had gone on for 23 minutes, Kalevi Itäluoma took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Kaarlo Paananen to make any attempt to save it. Tero Uhlbäck's late challenge caught a FC Lynx's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tero Uhlbäck helped the player get up and apologised. In the 29th match minute, Pyörylä IFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tero Uhlbäck to maneuver through the defense. In the 30th minute of the match Tauno Sammalkangas sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kaarlo Paananen skillfully saved the ball. With his leg Kaarlo Paananen managed to avoid a goal in the 34thth minute, when FC Lynx's Kalevi Itäluoma fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Through an outstanding action, after 35 minutes, Kaarlo Paananen successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When FC Lynx's Atso Pärssinen in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pyörylä IFK's goalie prevented a goal. If Atso Pärssinen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 45th minute, FC Lynx's Atso Pärssinen ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Kaarlo Paananen. Kaarlo Paananen yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Auvo Immonen was the one to do the kick off. The audience was convinced that Vilhelm Latvanen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kaarlo Paananen was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. When Kalevi Itäluoma came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the FC Lynx fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kalevi Itäluoma couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the Pyörylä IFK defense, Kalevi Itäluoma kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kaarlo Paananen. Kaarlo Paananen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vilhelm Latvanen, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Kaarlo Paananen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kalevi Itäluoma in the 66th minute of play. After 67 minutes, Nikolai Hannula mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pyörylä IFK and the FC Lynx players grew even worse after the yellow card. Nikolai Hannula hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Pyörylä IFK's Kaarlo Paananen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Atso Pärssinen in the 68th minute of play. 70 minutes into the match, FC Lynx's goalkeeper Jimeno Diaz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kyösti Koskenkorva. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Atso Pärssinen in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kaarlo Paananen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Pyörylä IFK getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Jaakko Kananen hit a great ball. Kalevi Itäluoma struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Kaarlo Paananen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Lynx. Kaarlo Paananen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kalevi Itäluoma, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kalevi Itäluoma in the 85th minute of play forced Pyörylä IFK's goalkeeper Kaarlo Paananen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 86 minutes into the match, Pyörylä IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Kalevi Itäluoma came free, but Kaarlo Paananen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 88 minutes, Kalevi Itäluoma managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Lynx's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kalevi Itäluoma was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tauno Sammalkangas took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kaarlo Paananen. Kaarlo Paananen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. Kalevi Itäluoma hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. FC Lynx's Jimeno Diaz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Auvo Immonen in the 95th minute of play. Kyösti Koskenkorva struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Jimeno Diaz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pyörylä IFK. FC Lynx's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
